ARE YOU THIS RIDER? Do your friends ask if you intend to ride the chairlift when you invite them out for a 'few' park laps? Do your top routes frequently involve pushing up and down trails that aren't on any map? Do your favorite rides begin or end with headlamps, an ice chest, and great friends? Does your bike have to do everything well to get you there and back again? If you think you might be this rider, then Occam should be your bike. Suspension Modern trail bikes are used for an impressive variety of rides. Some riders use them to climb thousands of meters on huge rides, others weave in and out of bike parks and jumps during their daily adventures. Occam is available with either a 140mm Fox 34 or 150mm Fox 36 so you can ride the way you like. Trail Geometry - Slacker Head Angle: Great stability - Lower Bottom Bracket: Corners naturally - Longer Cockpit: Room to move while maintaining balance - Longer Wheelbase: Stability at high speeds - Steep Seat Angle: Proper pedaling position - Short Seat Tube: For long dropper posts Carbon OMR - Orbea Monocoque Race (OMR) frames blend high modulus fibers and high strength fibers exclusively. - Prepreg carbon sheets are laser cut to minimize excess materials and overlap, and hours of pre-molding ensure optimal compaction with the smallest amount of carbon. - A full EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) mold helps eliminate wrinkles and voids. Asymmetry—Strength - The right side support strengthens and stiffens a high-stress area. - Instead of using a less-efficient "shock tunnel" the Occam design offsets the shock to the left side of the frame, allowing the asymmetrical support to follow a more direct path. - This straight line that closely follows the shock mounting is the most efficient way to neutralize suspension forces on the front triangle. Asymmetry—Ergonomics & Balance - The asymmetric/offset design offers unique advantages beyond stiffness and low weight. The shock is mounted in a position that offers incredibly easy access to damper controls, while the tidy design leaves room for a bottle with easy left-side access.
ENDURALIN It's the difference between the tentative first go of the year and the ripping third lap of a midsummer day. It's the ease of knowing your suspension is dialed. It's a boost of confidence, speed, and control when a bit more of any could make a winning formula. Enduralin is the extra bit of fun that turns a good ride into a great one—the shouting of the crowd, a flow state of euphoria, cowbells, chainsaws, accelerated reaction time, and enhanced perception. It's the difference between a Good Time and All-Time. Longer Travel with New Kinematics - Rallon gets a bump in travel to 160mm with a redesigned linkage assembly. A higher starting leverage ratio improves early stroke sensitivity, while the progressive rate increases from 8% to 20% to provide more bottom-out support. - Frame geometry remains unchanged, even with greater travel, and the addition of a 170mm Fox 38 fork gives Rallon a boost of Enduralin with a new 64.5º head angle. Connected Link - Rallon's concentric boost suspension provides unique freedom to our engineers to finely design the kinematics so that pedaling efficiency, small bump sensibility, suspension progressivity, and rear system stiffness to weight ratio can be independently optimized. - A high main pivot point provides minimum pedaling energy losses at the same time the seat stays and linkage positioning ensure just the right progressivity for outstanding bumps absorption and ultimate grip and control. Pure Enduro Geometry - Slack head angle - Long cockpit - Adjustable geometry - Long wheelbase - Steep seat angle - Low bottom bracket - Short chainstays
